Portea Cherish – Terms & Conditions

The Program: 

Portea Cherish is a flagship engagement program operated by Portea Medicalfor all its customers across India.

Eligibility and Enrolment:

  • Any individual availing Portea services is eligible and automatically enrolled to the program.

Membership Expiry /Renewal:

  • Once enrolled, an individual is a lifelong member of the program and there is no membership expiry.
  • Portea holds the right to cancel membership at any stage of the program.

Portea ID/Family ID

  • At a later stage of the program, members belonging to the same family will be linked together using a single ID, here onwards referred to as the Family ID.
  • Every Patient ID and Family ID is unique and system will eliminate the duplicates.

Health Miles and Redemption

  • Members can utilize their Health Miles to redeem it for money in their Portea Wallet.
  • The Health miles can only be redeemed online (either using the patient portal or the Portea mobile app) against Portea Wallet
  • These Health miles are also transferable to Family members registered under the same Family ID only.
  • If a patient’s membership expires or is cancelled, the earned Health miles will be transferred to the Family Id if the patient is registered under a Family ID.

If the customer is not registered under a Family ID and the membership expires or gets cancelled, then the Health miles earned by the customers will be nullified.

If a patient is blacklisted, then his/her points will not be transferred but nullified

  • After Health Miles are redeemed for money, it is governed by the T&C that applies to Portea Wallet.

General Conditions:

  • Portea Program membership and its benefits are offered at the sole discretion of Portea Medical
  • All interpretations of the Terms and Conditions and Program rules shall be at the sole discretion of Portea Medical
  • All communication shall be mailed to the mailing address (postal or email) and if there are any changes in the member’s personal information, then it is the responsibility of the member to change his/her email address, residential address/ office address/ mailing address as well as the mobile and landline numbers in the Portea Member website under the profile section. It is the responsibility of the member to ensure that the same changes are reflected in our website and system. All communication shall be deemed to have been received by the member and Portea Medical Ltd. bears no responsibility for communication not received or lost in the mail or courier.
  • Any of the rules, privileges, benefits, terms, conditions, reward or reward levels or duration pertaining to the Program/ applicability of the Program may be extended, cancelled, discontinued, withdrawn, changed, altered or modified, by the Company upon reasonable notice where it is possible and/or practical to give such notice.
